Intern - AutoML and AI Models Optimization

TCL Research Europe is a Warsaw-based R&D center focused on creating Artificial Intelligence solutions for global products of TCL, a leading consumer electronics company, ranked n°2 worldwide TV producer.

Responsibilities:

• Support AutoML experts in their daily works, such as: optimizing models for other ML projects from TCL R&D Labs (world-wide), preparing data for experiments, implementing training pipelines, conducting experiments and interpreting the results

• Work with Computer Vision models and/or Large Language Models and Multi-modal models - both on-device (TVs, smartphones, etc.) and in the cloud

• Prototyping in the area of model compression/pruning, Knowledge Distillation, NAS (Neural Architecture Search), Quantization, etc.

• Collaboration with other AI team members and stakeholders

Should have:

• Strong algorithmic and programming skills (Python)

• Knowledge of Machine Learning / Deep Learning theory and algorithms

• Good command of English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Experience in using ML/DL frameworks, such as PyTorch (preferred)

• Experience with Large Language Models and multi-modal models

• Experience in Computer Vision

• Solid mathematical background
